All aromatic crops needed good dose of DAP for the good establishment and rich oil content . The input cost for per acre will be 1000 rs to 2000 rs . more per acre for every harvest which pushes palmarosa farmers to rise the oil price soon … No way to work with present thin margin some farmers around the states have already switched to the new crop ..... acreage for palmarosa are shrinking this year... It is a question of loosing global position in palmarosa oil export .....
